Christine and Adam had the most outstanding weather for their early September wedding in Kennebunkport at the beautiful Nonantum Resort. You never know what you'll get for weather that time of year (we do live in New England after all!), but they lucked out and it was perfect.
Both their ceremony and reception were held at the elegant Nonantum Resort, the ceremony faced the Kennebunk River. The groom and his groomsmen hired the Pinapple Ketch for a quick sail before the ceremony and then they arrived at the dock just in time to walk into the ceremony and take their places. The guests really enjoyed watching them sail up the river! Their riverfront ceremony was very sweet - Christine and Adam wrote their own vows and it was so emotional and sweet that there wasn't a dry eye in the group. They are so thankful to have found each other in this crazy world <3
After a few photos of families and bridal party, we went down to the little beach just beyond the parking lot on the side of the Nonantum. This beach only shows itself at low tide, so we don't often get to photograph our couples there. There are so many spots for gorgeous photos on the grounds of the inn. We wandered around with them for a bit shooting and chatting until it was time to head over to catch the end of cocktail hour, which was on the back lawn.
Then it was time to head inside for their reception. Christine and Adam chose a beautiful nautical theme for their wedding and it really looked amazing. Christine's makeup was done by Making Faces. Florals by the talented Flowers by Leslie. They hired Nate Downs for their DJ and he kept everyone on the dance floor! Thanks to Christine and Adam for trusting us to capture their lovely wedding :)
And..if you have a bit more time to look through their fun Portsmouth NH engagement session, it's here!
