Sarah and John have one of those fairy tale love stories – they met in 8th grade and have been together ever since. Not only are they the best of friends.. they make each other laugh, they support each other, and are so in love.
Fast forward about a decade later, they tied the knot at a venue that looks like a Newport mansion with lush gardens and lovely stonework everywhere. They chose to have a first look in the gardens where their ceremony would be later in the day. It was a very quiet, intimate, perfect way to have a little moment together without all of your friends and family looking on.
This wasn't our first time photographing a wedding at The Mansion on Turner Hill, but honestly each time is unique and this wedding was both fun and elegant..romantic and easy going.. The mansion is located in Ipswich, Massachusetts and boasts hand-molded plaster ceilings, vivid wall friezes, gleaming oak hardwood floors and hand-carved paneling, doors and stairways. It is no wonder the mansion is often compared to the imagination of F. Scott Fitzgerald in the book and well-known movie The Great Gatsby.
